Amidamaru is a 600 year old samurai who is Yoh's spirit guardian. He is strong loyal and is awfully funny. He likes strawberry ice-cream and makes a good friend. He is a friend to Yoh, Morty, Ryu and Anna. He is a good fighter and owns the sword of light. This sword was meant to save Amidamaru's life, One night when Ryu and the Dead Enders found a sacred hang, it was actually a bowling alley, there was a lizard with glowing red eyes,apparently it was Tokagero in disguise. He transfered himself into Ryu's body and now he is his spirit guardian. Tokagero wanted the sword of light to kill Amidamaru, he went to the Asakura Residence and he had Morty in his arms. He told them either he fights Amidamaru or it's the boys life. That's not exactly what he said but that's what it met. Anyway back to Amidamaru, like I said Amidmaru is a great fighter and is a good friend, he may have been living in the soil for 600 years but he sure is a great spirit guardian.
